Yankee Gas is pleased to announce a new, budget-friendly billing option for your service plan. If you are a customer and your gas service account is in good standing, you can take advantage of the monthly billing option for the Advantage Protection Service Plan. Your contract will still be in effect for a 12-month period, but the cost will be spread out over 12 monthly bills.

As an Advantage Protection Service Plan customer, your call for service will be responded to quickly. Yankee Gas will come out to repair your equipment within 24 hours or sooner. Think of the stress and inconvenience you’ll avoid if you experience no heat or hot water! For customer without an Advantage Protection Service Plan, Yankee Gas will repair your equipment based on workforce availability.

If you need a service call and you do not have an Advantage Protection Service Plan, Yankee Gas' standard service labor rates apply as follows:

Rates for work performed during regular daytime working hours, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays are:

When work requires more than the minimum 60 minutes, each additional 30 minutes or fraction thereof will be charged at $49.00 per employee.

Rates for work during other than regular hours on Monday through Friday and at anytime on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays are:

When work requires more than the minimum 60 minutes, each additional 30 minutes or fraction thereof will be charged at $62.00 per employee.

Add a heating system inspection
Our annual inspections help ensure your central heating systems are in peak shape year-round. You can add an annual inspection to your Yankee Gas Advantage Protection Service Plan at a substantial savings from our normal service labor rates to guarantee your central heating system receives the important care it deserves. Please note that inspections are performed from April 1 - September 30.
