Rate 10 (PDF:20KB) is for small-sized commercial or industrial customers with an actual or expected annual natural gas usage of up to 5,000 Ccf. Usage up to 200 Ccf of natural gas per month is billed at one rate, and all other usage beyond 200 Ccf per month is billed at a lower rate. All commercial and industrial customers have a Demand Charge on their bill which takes into account individual customer peak demands - or what is required by Yankee's distribution system to serve them. Customers in this rate class have the option of having a telemetering device, or METSCAN, for a monthly fee of $24.09.
