Effective February 1, 2008, the five-year average of gas unaccounted for = 1.536%. The transportation loss factor = 0.98464, which is calculated by taking one minus the percentage of gas unaccounted for (1 - .01536 = .98464). The transportation loss factor changes on a calendar year basis. 1
